Historical drawings in Iran
The historical period in Iran is normally referred to as the Achaemenid, Parthian and Sassanid Empire.
These three empires in Iran were the most important with immense and glorious art.
Traditional Persian designs
in the story are normally designed with curved and straight lines, and sometimes it is
possible to find patterns with both types of lines. These patterns are inspired by animals, flowers and
humans.They can be single or repeated on a line or direction.
Much of the motifs in this period are four-petaled flowers, lotus flowers, pomegranate flowers and
Human figures in various situations.
